Seize The Silliness


Watching Boston Legal yesterday, I heard James Spader's character say; "seize the silliness"... what a great idea, lets 'seize it'. How will we seize the silliness? Maybe by being less uptight at present... maybe play with ideas... dream more.... play... blow bubbles... tell silly jokes... dress up... buy a gnome and put it in someone's garden... paint pictures on your garbage bin... put flowers in your pool...
Did you know that once upon a time silly meant blessed? Yes in the 11th century the word silly meant blessed. So seize the silliness... who knows you may feel the blessing... heaven knows it doesn't help our psyches focussing on all the worry, doom and gloom on our TV's these days.
